About the Refineosoft Water Softening System

Our Refineosoft Water Softening System is a two-in-one system that softens your water, while reducing taste and odour for improved water quality. Softer skin, more efficient appliances, better-tasting water for your whole home.

It combines softening media with taste and odour reduction in one system, and regenerates automatically based on how much water you use.

Who it is for

Made for homes on municipal water where hardness and chlorine taste or smell are both a concern.

How a water softener works

Hard water carries calcium and magnesium. As water passes through the softening media, those hardness minerals are swapped for sodium. When the media is full, the softener regenerates by rinsing it with brine from the salt tank, then goes back to work.

Maintenance

Keep the brine tank topped up with salt and check it monthly. Have the system inspected once a year to check the settings, clean the valve and injector, and test your water. Ask about our Softener Preventative Maintenance package.
