About the Econo Water Softener
Our Econo Water Softener is a reliable unit that will soften your water at an affordable price.
It keeps things simple: it reduces hardness minerals and clear water iron with low maintenance costs.
Who it is for
Best for smaller households, rentals and budget-minded homeowners who simply want hard water dealt with.
How a water softener works
Hard water carries calcium and magnesium. As water passes through the softening media, those hardness minerals are swapped for sodium. When the media is full, the softener regenerates by rinsing it with brine from the salt tank, then goes back to work.
Maintenance
Keep the brine tank topped up with salt and check it monthly. Have the system inspected once a year to check the settings, clean the valve and injector, and test your water. Ask about our Softener Preventative Maintenance package.
Financing and warranty
We offer a variety of financing options to fit your budget. We back our products with superior service and an industry-leading warranty. See the Warranty page for details.
