The Platinum adds a high-efficiency Turbulator for increased iron removal, adjustable cycles that can be programmed for your water, and a built-in relay that can power other treatment equipment.

How a water softener works

Hard water carries calcium and magnesium. As water passes through the softening media, those hardness minerals are swapped for sodium. When the media is full, the softener regenerates by rinsing it with brine from the salt tank, then goes back to work.

Maintenance

Keep the brine tank topped up with salt and check it monthly. Have the system inspected once a year to check the settings, clean the valve and injector, and test your water. Ask about our Softener Preventative Maintenance package.
